We love using fresh fruit in our summer cocktail recipes like we did in the Strawberry Pomegranate Mojito, the Cowgirl Razzberry Tini, and the Strawberry Margaritas. Not only do fresh strawberries add a great taste to cocktail recipes, they also make the drink look amazing.
Just look at this Strawberry Dragon Berry Mojito. It’s mouthwatering.
But this drink isn’t just a pretty face; Bacardi Dragon Berry Rum is what really makes this mojito fantastic. If you haven’t heard of this rum before, you need to try it. It’s a unique Asian-inspired blend of ripe strawberries and dragonfruit.
It’s surprisingly refreshing, too, which makes it perfect for a day of hanging out on the patio.
Red Dragon Mojito with Bacardi Dragon Berry Rum
Ingredients
2 ounces Bacardi Dragon Berry Rum
1/2 ounce home made simple syrup
1 strawberry, sliced
soda water
5 mint leaves
ice
1 whole strawberry and 1 mint sprig (for garnish)
Preparation
Muddle mint leaves and sliced strawberry with simple syrup in a cocktail shaker.
Add ice and rum.
Shake and pour contents into a highball glass.
Add more ice, if needed, and top with soda water.
Garnish with mint sprig and whole strawberry.
Enjoy on the back patio (and don’t forget to eat the muddled strawberries at the bottom!).
