For Mother’s Day this year, we want you to have cocktail choices. Our first post this week was the Hibiscus Peach Sangria that would be perfect for a Mother’s Day brunch with a group.
If, however, your day will be spent with fewer people, this Berry Happy Cocktail might be a better choice. It is a Champagne Cocktail that combines a fresh blackberry, berry juice, and Sparkling Rose Wine to create a beautiful drink that will help you say cheers to that special mom in your life.
Berry Happy Cocktails
Ingredients
2 ounces Mixed Berry Juice (I used Santa Cruz Organics Berry Nectar)
Sparkling Rose Wine
2 Fresh Blackberries
Edible Flowers for garnish
Preparation
Get out 2 champagne flutes and put 1 fresh blackberry and 1 ounce of mixed berry juice into the bottom of each flute.
Fill with Sparkling Rose Wine and garnish with an edible flower.
Drink with your favorite mom and refill as often as needed.
Makes 2 drinks
(P.S. Here is a list of 10 Brunch Wines for Mother’s Day from our friend Rachel Voorhees if you aren’t sure what kind to buy).
Cheers!
