For our last 4th of July cocktail this year, we wanted to leave you with something blue. But you definitely won’t have the blues after drinking this pina colada like cocktail (which is very similar to the Cherry Colada Cooler).
Blue Hawaiian
Ingredients
1 ounce white rum
1 ounce Blue Curacao
1 ounce cream of coconut
2 ounces pineapple juice
Ice
Maraschino cherry for garnish
Preparation
In a cocktail shaker add white rum, Blue Curacao, and cream of coconut. Shake until coconut is mixed.
Pour pineapple juice into cocktail shaker and shake some more.
Fill a highball glass with ice, and pour contents of cocktail shaker into glass.
Garnish with cherries (and a slice of pineapple if you have one on hand).
Note: If you feel like having a blended drink instead, pour everything into blender along with ice and blend until desired consistency.
