Chocolate Mint Vodka Cocktail {with Chocolate and Vanilla Vodka}

When we posted the Chocolate Mint Mojito recipe we told you to plant chocolate mint. But we couldn’t leave you with just that one cocktail recipe to use it in. So, we of course got out the vodka and worked our magic to create this Chocolate Mint Cocktail.

Carri and I both have chocolate mint growing in our gardens. It’s tasty in mojitos and makes a lovely garnish for drinks like the chocolate raspberry sparkler.

We also both have bottles of 360 Double Chocolate Vodka. We first tried this brand when we are at a conference in Nashville. We instantly fell in love. But then again, we both really love vodka. Like really, really love vodka.

My favorite vodka from them is the Madagascar Vanilla Vodka. I think I’ve gone through three or four bottles of it in the last year. But that’s not hard to do when it’s so tasty in drinks like the Orange Creamsicle Martini and the Key Lime Martini (to name just a few).

So, for this chocolate mint cocktail… I decided to combine both the chocolate and vanilla vodka to make a vodka mojito (or a vojito). The preparation is the same as a mojito as are the rest of the ingredients. It’s easy to make and perfect with the chocolate mint.

Chocolate Mint Cocktail {with chocolate vodka and vanilla vodka}

Ingredients

1 ounce chocolate vodka

1 ounce vanilla vodka

10-12 Chocolate Mint Leaves

1/2 fresh squeezed lime

1 TBSP simple syrup

Soda Water 

Ice

Chocolate Mint Sprig for garnish

Preparation

Muddle mint leaves, lime juice and simple syrup in a highball glass.

Add chocolate and vanilla vodka.

Fill glass with ice and top with soda water.

Garnish with mint sprig.

Makes 1 chocolate mint cocktail.
