Last month we went on a trip to Nashville for a blogging conference. While there, we were served a vodka cocktail that the bartender called a “Pretty Girl.” Naturally we quizzed the bartender on the ingredients of the mixed drink and came home to make our own version of it called the Hey Girl Martini.
The Hey Girl Martini is similar to a Cosmo Cocktail because it has vodka, cranberry juice and lime juice. The difference between the two drinks is in the pineapple juice which traditional cosmos drink recipes do not have.
Hey Girl Martini
Ingredients
2 ounces Vodka
2 ounces cranberry juice
2 ounces pineapple juice
1 tablespoon sour mix
Lime for garnish
Preparation
Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake and pour into a martini glass.
Garnish with a lime wheel.
Makes 1 martini.
