How To Make Lemon Infused Vodka

You all know how much we love infused vodkas over here. From candy vodka to fruit vodka, we make it all. And share with you. Of course. So, for our next vodka creation we present to you… Lemon Infused Vodka.

Some of the other fruit infused vodkas we have shared are the blackberry vodka and the strawberry vodka. This one is a little different because it’s a citrus fruit instead of organic berries.

The nice thing about making your own infused vodka is that you can make as much or as little as you want. Personally, I would make a lot of this lemon infused vodka because it can be used in many different cocktail recipes in place of citrus vodka.

Plus, it’s cheaper to make your own infused vodka than to buy bottles of all the different fruit flavors out there. Your liquor cabinet can only hold so many bottles. At some point, you’d have to start getting rid of dishes to hold all your booze. I may or may not be speaking from experience here.

How to make Lemon Infused Vodka

Ingredients

2 lemons

Vodka (Stoli, Absolut and Ketel One are all good options)

Preparation

Slice lemons and put in a mason jar.

Fill  the mason jar with vodka and put the top on.

Label the jar with the name and date and put it in the fridge.

Give the jar a little shake each day when you go in there for your other cocktail supplies.

After about three days, take the lemons out and leave the vodka.

Now you are ready to use it for all sorts of citrus cocktail creations.

Once your vodka is infused, use it in the Lemon Basil Cocktail and the Clementine Martini. You could even use it to replace Ketel One Citroen in your cocktails.
