In preparation of Cinco de Mayo we will be posting many margarita recipes in the next few weeks.
Naturally, we had to start with a classic margarita, on the rocks. Salt optional but highly recommended.
Margaritas
Ingredients
3 ounces tequila (my tequila of choice was Silver Patron but you can use whatever you like best).
2 ounces Triple Sec
1 lime
2 lime wedges for garnish
Margarita Salt (optional)
Preparation
If you want your margarita with salt, rim margarita glass with lime and dip in salt.
Fill margarita glasses with ice.
Pour all ingredients into cocktail shaker and shake.
Pour contents of cocktail shaker into margarita glasses and garnish with lime wedges.
Makes 2 Margaritas.
Cheers!

Love a classic margarita! Throw some chips & salsa next to that pic & I’m in.
Deal.
The salt is NEVER optional for me
We always add the salt too.
This is my favorite way to have a margarita. YUM!!!
