Over on my personal blog, I’ve been working with the company method. The latest products they sent me are part of their pink your sink campaign for breast cancer awareness month.
One of the hand soaps is a pretty pink color with the name Mimosa Sun and smells to me like strawberries and Champagne.
Like any good cocktail creator, my brain immediately started to think of a drink inspired by this soap.
Yep, a cocktail inspired by soap. Bet you never thought you would hear that.
Unlike a regular mimosa which is half orange juice/half Champagne, this drink combines the flavors of strawberry and lemon with Prosecco to create a beautifully pink bubbly libation.
And unlike soap, we recommend you consume this drink.
Mimosa Sun
Ingredients
2 ounces Drillaud’s Strawberry Liqueur
1 fresh squeezed lemon
Prosecco
Sliced strawberry and lemon twist for garnish
Preparation
In a Champagne flute, combine the strawberry liqueur and fresh squeezed lemon.
Top with Prosecco and garnish with sliced strawberry and lemon twist in the shape of a pink ribbon.
Makes 1 cocktail.
Cheers!
Note…this post is not sponsored by method. I love the company and their products so I created this cocktail on my own.

I loved the drink! On first look at the recipe, I thought the drink to be too sweet but the use of lemon killed the extra sweetness.
Glad you liked it!
