Mint Paddy Martini

To celebrate both St. Patrick’s Day and Girl Scout Cookies we created this Mint Martini. While it doesn’t use Irish Whiskey or Guinness beer the green color of the cocktail will be a hit for any St. Patrick’s Day celebration. And who doesn’t love a drink that uses Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies as garnish?

The flavors of the vanilla vodka (used also in the Orange Creamsicle Martini and the Key Lime Martini) pair nicely with the green Creme de Menthe and half and half for the perfect St. Patrick’s beverage.

Mint Martini

Ingredients

2 ounces 360 Madagascar Vanilla Vodka

2 ounces half and half

3/4 ounce green Creme de Menthe

Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies to rim glass and for garnish

Chocolate syrup

Preparation

Grate 1 Thin Mint Girl Scout cookie using the finest side of a cheese grater.

Rim glass with chocolate syrup and dip in grated Thin Mint cookie.

Pour Vodka, half and half, and Creme de Menthe into a cocktail shaker and add ice.

Shake.

Pour into a martini glass and garnish with a Thin Mint Girl Scout cookie.

Makes 1 martini.

Cheers and Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
