Pomegranate Margaritas

Pomegranates are full of antioxidants but they aren’t the easiest fruit on the planet to eat. Fortunately, there is another option…Pomegranate juice which is a great cocktail ingredient in drinks such as Pomegranate Martinis and Strawberry Pomegranate Mojitos.

So, today we are going to combine the beloved pomegranate juice with tequila to create a perfect summer cocktail.

Pomegranate Margaritas

Ingredients

3 ounces Tequila (I used Silver Patron)

5 ounces Pomegranate juice

2 ounces Cointreau

1 fresh squeezed lime

2 lime wedges for garnish

Optional: margarita salt

Preparation

If you want salt, rim glass with lime and dip in margarita salt.

Fill 2 margarita glasses with ice.

Pour all ingredients into cocktail shaker and shake.

Pour into 2 margarita glasses and garnish with lime wedges.

Makes 2 margaritas.

 Cheers!
