If you are looking for a drink using blood oranges with a little more kick than the blood orange martini we posted, you will like this Irish Whiskey Drink.
Red Rosary
2 ounces Jameson Irish Whiskey
1 thick slice blood orange
5 dashes Angostura bitters
Splash of simple syrup
Splash of sweet and sour
Splash of soda water
Preparation
Peel rind from slice of blood orange and place in a rocks glass.
Add angostura bitters, simple syrup, sweet and sour, and soda water.
Muddle ingredients.
Add ice and the Jameson Irish Whiskey.
Flip drink into another rocks glass so the blood orange slice is on top.
Garnish with another slice of blood orange.
Cheers!
