With fresh strawberries in season, we are working hard muddling them into every kind of cocktail recipe we can think of. This latest Grapevine Vodka Cocktail is a mix between the Absolut Grapevine Vodka Collins and the Red Dragon Mojito.
Absolut Grapevine vodka is a combination of white grapes, dragon fruit and papaya. It’s an interesting blend of flavors that works perfectly together. It’s made from natural flavors with no added sugar.
It’s really good neat with ice. But that’s no fun for a cocktail blog. We like to make vodka cocktails. And we like to drink vodka cocktails. Or any cocktail for that matter.
This grapevine vodka cocktail is similar to a mojito recipe with muddled mint, fresh squeezed lime and soda water. The twist is it’s made with vodka instead of rum. And we muddled fresh, organic strawberries with the mint leaves.
For the berries, purchase organic strawberries. They are delicious in cocktails and don’t have all those nasty pesticides. Try them in this Organic Cucumber Vodka Cocktail if you don’t believe us. Or you could grow your own strawberries if you were so inclined. I have yet to do this but one day I will. It sure would save me a lot of money.
